The less automatic the class is, the harder it becomes to master, and warriors have no automode on anything, and warriors arsenal makes it an ideal "support tank", mentioning it for the second time now, its my choice of words on explaining how I see the CD usage on mine. Let none dissuade you that warriors are bad. Warriors are the most mobile of the tanks, have a possibility to have close to no CD on Taunt, Safeguard at disposal and some other tweaks I can't really put words to at this hour, but I could talk about it to no end usually. Warriors are great tanks, let none deceive you on that, but it holds true that others are a bit better designed for specific roles, leaving warrior in somewhat unfavorable light when you put things to paper. Unique laugh for a warrior is that its a class that needs help of a support, but protection is the support itself :D.Īnd warriors are gear whores, yes, but in tank spec every tank is one gear hungry son of a gun. Be it high threat spec, balanced spec, pure OT spec, some adjustments for the specific bosses, you name it. In my opinion, warriors are the best off-tanks, but in my whole WotLK experience, I have never had any issue handling any boss all things considered. Blood DKs for their balance, Ferals for their sponge role, Paladins for their autobot mode and then there are us warriors that must do everything manually. Testje, warriors are not bad tanks, nor the worst (there is no worst), but if one were to look how other classes are designed, others classes do outshine warriors.
